Professional Background
Galia Internet Ventures Ltd. was initiated on 2007 by Arik Zara, an Israeli website developer and marketer, with a background of academic studies and practice in the fields of Law (LLB) and Social Work (MSW). Arik's dream, fulfilled with the success of Galia Internet Ventures Ltd, has been to combine his fields of expertise and talents in the context on Internet marketing.

Arik was first exposed to the field of Online Marketing on 2003, through an online shop launched then by his father, Albert. Arik, at the time a total novice in the field of online marketing, was given by his father the first opportunity to explore internet advertising. The challenge was to promote the website on Google through Search Engine Optimization. After an intense period of self studies, Arik implemented the knowledge online. He analyzed and selected keywords, measured the website's rankings, and optimized the pages. The results were superb. The website went first on Google's search results with many top performing keywords. The effect on the website's sales was terrific, increasing traffic, sales, revenue and profits. The website - ZaraMart - is active to these days with much success, and Arik, that since then expanded his business to new fields and areas, still supervises the website's online marketing.

Through the years that followed, Arik put his energies into studying and going deeper into field of Online Marketing. Through autodidactic self studies, he acquired professional knowledge in various online marketing strategies, programming, website building, content writing, and more and more. On the year 2007 Arik established his company, Galia Internet Ventures Ltd. The company gained success very quickly after its establishment, successfully managing numerous online marketing campaigns across a broad range of consumer goods and services. With a proven record of consistent results, The company has worked in the context of affiliate partnerships with many online businesses coming from major international markets such as USA, Canada, UK, Scandinavia, and Israel. The company owns and operates several websites and works both as affiliate program managers and as affiliate partners. Galia Internet Ventures is a leading professional affiliate companies. Personal Background
Arik was born in 1974 in Tel Aviv, where he lived most of his life. He was a second child to his parents, Esti and Albert, who immigrated to Israel from Istanbul 3 years earlier. As a child, Arik played basketball in the Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club youth teams. When he was 18, after graduating from the Tichon Cahdash Yitzhak Rabin High School, he joined the Israeli Defense Forces and served there for three years. Arik completed his military service in 1995 and went to study at the Tel Aviv University Law School.

In the year 1999 Arik graduated with distinction from law school. He was hired by a Hamburger Evron & Co., Law Offices & Notaries, one of Israel’s longest-practicing and most experienced law firms, providing comprehensive services in all aspects of civil and commercial law.

In 2004 Arik was invited by the Canadian McGill Middle East Peace Program to study for Masters in Social Work at McGill University, Montreal. Later on he was active in Community Advocacy, a community organization located at the heart of one of Jerusalem’s poorest neighborhoods, which works to strengthen the awareness of disadvantaged residents concerning their social rights, for the benefit of the poor, the disabled and the elderly.

Arik does sports, mainly Football, Basketball, surfing, sailing and Yoga. Arik is devoted to Reiki and to the meditation lessons of the Indian Yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda.

Arik has a passion for travel, with India, Brazil, and Turkey as his favorite destinations. The unique character of the work of an affiliate marketer, allows Arik a high level of mobility and freedom to travel. Since the company was established he is dividing his time between Israel and other destination around the globe.

And Who is Galia?
Arik has beautiful family, of whom he is very proud! Arik’s father, Albert, is the owner and manager of ZaraMart, an online Israeli Judaica shop and a source of pride to the family. Yoram, Arik's elder brother, is a lawyer. Yoram is married to Tammy, who works in the advertising industry. Yoram and Tammy have three children. Galia Zara, Arik's niece, is the elder. She is the most beautiful child in Israel! She loves dancing, reading and laughing, and also to ski!

Arik’s mother, Esti, passed away recently when she was only 57 years old. Esti has been an everlasting source of love and inspiration for Arik and his family.
